Bushehr – IRNA – The head of the Association of Partner Laboratories and Calibration of the General Office of Standards of Bushehr Province said: There are 57 partner laboratories in this province.
According to IRNA, Dr. Ayub Mahmoudi told reporters on Tuesday: “This number of laboratories in the field of testing imported and exported goods and compiling a standard with an investment of 500 billion rials has been set up in Bushehr province. Laboratory poles have become in the country.
He said: “These laboratories test 1,607 items of goods, which has significantly accelerated the process of export and import of goods in Bushehr port.”
Dr. Mahmoudi reminded: Currently, the standard test of 100% of the goods produced in Bushehr province and 95% of the export and imported goods are carried out in Bushehr port in this province.
He continued: The main activities of partner laboratories are defined in the form of monitoring the quality of imported and exported goods and developing standards.
Dr. Mahmoudi stated: “One of the main problems in this department is the provision of equipment required by laboratories, which in this regard we face restrictions due to some sanctions, and in this area we try to rely on the ability of internal forces of the device.” Produce the required in the country and use them for laboratories.
He said: Bushehr is also one of the top provinces in the country in terms of developing a national standard, as in 1993, this province was introduced as an example in terms of developing a standard.
Dr. Mahmoudi added: “In this regard, 100 standard formulations have been compiled in Bushehr province so far, and this trend has taken a favorable upward trend with the activity of advanced laboratories in recent years.”
He said: “Currently, with the envisaged measures, sampling of imported and exported items will be done in the customs of Bushehr and Genaveh ports, which has accelerated the import and export process.”
Dr. Mahmoudi reminded: in the last five years, in connection with the activities of the laboratory, more efforts have been made to increase the quality instead of increasing them quantitatively.
He continued: The Association of Standard Laboratories of Bushehr Province, which started its activities in 1986, was registered as the first association in the country in the Companies Registration Office and the Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Mahmoudi added: “Also, this association is a leader in the implementation of the HSE system (health, safety and environment) in the country.”
He reminded: Currently, 700 responsible experts are working in standard partner laboratories in Bushehr province.
